Combine Hills Interconnection
Eurus Energy America Corporation has submitted a generation interconnection request to BPA to integrate up to 63 megawatts (MW) of power generated from the Combine Hills Wind Project in Umatilla County, Ore. to the Federal Columbia River Transmission System (FCRTS).
Interconnection would require BPA to connect to the Walla Walla-Pendleton 69-kilovolt transmission line and upgrade 5.8 miles. The transmission line upgrade would involve replacing several wood poles and stringing new conductor.
Schedule
A Categorical Exclusion under the Business Plan Environmental Impact Statement was completed in May 2005. As a result, BPA will offer contract terms for interconnection of 63 MW of power from the wind project into the FCRTS.
