Tools used to clean a span of the SnoKing to Monroe Echo Lake transmission line. Apprentice spent seven hours scrubbing the conductor. One of the towers along the SnoKing to Monroe Echo Lake transmission line BPA crews lower themselves one by one into bucket carts. The cleaning took seven hours to remove contaminate on one span.
SnoKing Substation Damper-spacers that were removed during the transmission line cleaning. Crews begin working a span. Crews begin working a span. A BPA lineman secures a brush to the conductor.
A BPA lineman replaces a damper-spacer on the SnoKing Tap to Monroe-Echo Lake transmission line. A BPA lineman drags a brush behind a space cart. Press came to watch the SnoKing cleaing.
