A close-up of the measuring process. A transmission line maintenance crew prepares to take measurements of the existing hardware. Along with the poles, this crossarm, one of the few wood ones remaining on the line, the insulators and much of the attachment hardware is to be replaced. The snow covered canyon below Anderson Ranch Dam.
Span hovering over the Oregon Trail. Crews constructing one of the new steel towers. New tower location. New steel towers will replace the old, damage wood poles, seen in the distance.
