Albeni Falls-Sand Creek Transmission Line Project A section of the Albeni Falls-Sand Creek transmission line is in need of pole replacements and other upgrades that will improve the reliability of the line. Upon completion, this project will assure safe and reliable service to customers in the north Idaho area. Maintenance will require about 340 wood poles to be replaced along about 25 miles of the existing transmission line. The project area is located on existing right-of-way from the Albeni Falls Dam to one mile north of BPA's Sandpoint Substation Schedule Some existing access roads will be upgraded beginning in August and continuing through September 2007. Some construction machinery will be in the area during this time. Construction on the line will begin in 2008 or 2009. Letter Map
