Albany-Burnt Woods & Santiam-Toledo BPA has completed its environmental assessment and has decided to proceed with the project. BPA will replace wood poles with new ones and upgrade segments of exisiting access roads along portions of its Albany-Burnt Woods 115-kV and Santiam-Toledo 230-kV transmission lines located near Corvallis and Albany, Ore. This work will ensure continued safe and reliable transmission service in the area. Schedule BPA released a final environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact in May 2009 and will begin construction immediately. Additional project information
